Map Battlemaps for D&D MIniatures Game

The following two maps were done in CC3 for a Community Contest for a D&D MIniatures contest for the Community Draft Event at GenCon 07.

Sadly niether of maps won to be included but the Pandemonium Map came in third (only first and Second Place maps were used in the event).

Still though, it was nice to map something for a game and get community recoginition for them.

Great stuff Neon! I really like the Pandemonium map in particular. I think people doing work on the battlemap scale are under-represented on the boards, so its great to see some work on this kind and quality.

I think we should put some pressure on Arcana to run a monthly contest for mapping at this level. I can think of the theme now. "A 50x50 ft empty room". That would be a real tester.

    Keep it up.

I love the pandemonium map! The winning entries must have been pretty superb to have pipped that one. Did you use CC3 symobls or did you make your own for the comp? They're really well done.

Well, of course us here are looking at giw 'purdy' the maps are, while the community looked at other things like play balance, ease of play, and purdiness

The map was done with the standard images from CC3 and DD3 only.

    The Winning maps are below/

Those are really excellent. When I win the lottery, I'm buying one of those *huge* HP plotters to print out stuff like this at 1:1
