I'm also a world mapper. I'm mapping my Etrakien world, and have done that for a couple of years. My biggest problem is to find time mapping with three kids in the house

I'm more of a regional/world mapper, though my one foray into city maps netted me a feature on the site

But would also say i'm an Adventurous mapper. I keep trying new things on each map!

I think that feature was well earned

I'm a battle mapper, although love cities as well. Regions and Worlds are not my forte but can be fun. Basicly I love to map and have a tendency to begin more maps than I have time to finish.

    I'm a 'mojo-less' mapper now...

I am moderately mojo-less in most maps. I am still going with the Middle Earth (MeDEM) stuff because I can see a lot of future potential in such a map but the generic RPG stuff is being stifled because, I think, from the general lack of motivation like Eagle said. I would like the community world mapped to a large scale and I think I am not alone in wanting it. But I think that most people who want it also want other people to make it for them. The Outerra thing has really injected us MeDemmers with a bit of adrenaline tho. We were slogging away doing the land terrain for years and then to see someone else slogging away on the real time terrain engine on the other side of the canyon and bridging this gap and meeting in the middle is really encouraging. I think were both going to be bigger than the sum of each others parts now. I have stopped entertaining the idea of seeing this sort of thing coming from the RPG world now - both privately and commercially.

My motivation/inspiration has come from doing maps for others. One reason I won't do free maps anymore - no motivation. Even if working for a token I still feel an obligation to complete it well.
