Well, it's at least 3 better.

He said it covers 91% of the sRGB color gamut, as opposed to 72% from the current model. For more info on color gamut and monitors, here's a nice blog post: http://damiensymonds.blogspot.com/20...ors-gamut.html

Looking at what's on offer, I think the 12wx would be the best for me (as we're dreaming) since you can rotate it easily. the others are too big to rotate so you have press buttons and do funky stuff to rotate the canvas on-screen. I'm hoping with the release of the 24HD the 12wx will drop in price. It's currently about £830 which is well over my budget, but that's a helluva lot cheaper than £2.5k.

Yeah, I want the rotation since I don't draw straight up and down to "paper" orientation. You'd get a nice arm workout moving that thing around as much as I would...I'd turn green and start yelling SMASH all the time.

Yeah 63 pounds or whatever makes it rather unportable even if all you were doing was transporting it from one location to another....never mind a week long trip. I still like the 21" but mainly because I don't like to feel cramped when I'm drawing something big.
