    I modified this a bit. Added roads, changed the title box around a little, and added another Ferrencian city-state.

    looks good, but I feel the large roads are a little blurry?

    Yeah, I applied a blur filter to them. They looked TOO sharp otherwise.

    maybe you could sharpen the edges a little, so they look more like the small ones - or perhaps that was what you had

    Yeah, that's what I had originally. Too sharp; didn't mesh well with the rest of the map.
