[Worldbuilding] Mapping my Novel/Campaign World
Okay so I finished my desert continent in both Ancient Style and Atlas Style. Both tutorials were provide by Ascension, again thank you sir! Anyway I decided to move on to book 2 which is still in progress and map out that continent as well so why not just start a worldbuilding thread for the entire 'planet'.
Each continent floats in the Astral Fade, my version of the Astral Plane/Astral Sea. Every one is joined in at least one place (most in more than one) by a bridge of pure elemental material. Anub'Volthrak (Desert) joins Cali'na (Swamp) via a land bridge that tapers out from a scrub plane type terrain to an earthen/tree covered area that eventually morphs into a series of swamps (Estuaries, River Swamps, Fens, Bogs, etc). Since those are the only two continents to see any action I'm going to focus on those and leave the others for later.

[Desert] Anub'Volthrak
The harsh environment of Anub'Volthrak is where the devastation of Aargonis started. In ancient times powerful sorcerers nearly destroyed the world and only the sacrifice of most of the major gods prevented its total annihilation. (More info to come!)

[Swamp] Cali'na
The continent of Cali'na is currently in progress. I have been doing research on swamp lands and how to represent them properly. It's been difficult thus far, I still have yet to divide the continent into sections of terrain.
