    Default The world of Calliome

Here's a map I did recently for Hans Cumming's world of Calliome for his ebook - Wings of Twilight.

There's some great teaser text on there (and some lovely art).

Really nice. Althought the northermost forest looks a bit weird to me.

Lovely map. But then, all your stuff is great so it's hardly surpriising.
Royal: I'm very sorry for your loss, your mother was a terribly attractive woman.

    Really nice.
Love the balance/ contrast. Mountains are neat and forest look tasty. Like any of your map anyway. So inspiring but frustrating at the same time.

The only thing though is that it seems the forests at the top are more saturated than the two others, too bright as well and possibly.

Overall, it's far above what I can do anyway so my comment is just ... well, my thinking.

Nicely done as usual, the font you used on the forests is a bit hard to read - no big deal really.

The forests at the top are jungle - and I agree the detailing's a little off there. The colour was intentional though, it's an oversaturated vibrant kind of place.

The mountain and forest text it is a bit tricky. The font's quite embellished, and in retrospect I should have inverted the colour on those labels and pulled them out in white. Good calls guys - thanks!
