Default Crossroads (Simple map experiment working on textures)

Made this battlemap as an experiment on using textures and integrating them together. Still working on getting objects to not float and appear to lay correctly on the map. Please let me know what you think. Any advice/suggestions is greatly appreciated. Thanks.Click image for larger version.

Looks like a good start, the 'floaties' (as I like to call them) are usually cause by using drop-shadows incorrectly (to biig, to heavy, to dark, wrong color, etc.). Keep that in mind and you should be OK.

Also, a good idea might be to take a look at aerial photos of rocks and such. Yours look a bit too flat on top, which makes them seem floatish as well.

(though it's not a problem I've managed to solve yet! )
