    Default History of Thailand

Here are two maps, one traditional map and another abstract map, related to the pre-modern history of Thailand. I did those for a friend's paper.

Very sharp and pretty, although the second map might have benefited from a key showing what the relative sizes of the circles represented (population? Land area?) although that was probably obvious from the accompanying text in the paper.

Great job! Always nice to see something other than the usual fantasy fare!

Ha yes. The circles are just a representation of power. They are not mathematically defined, they just show what centre of power has influence on which cities. The size of the circle increases with distance.

Hello - I think the circles of influence works very well - instant understanding of political overlap. The companion map is precise - communicates exactly the important information. No surplus or weight that does not support the point - nice nice nice.
