playing with textures...

Here's a map I made while trying out some new textures and stuff. I had some results I didn't really expect, but they aren't entirely bad. I just wanted to get some feedback and ask everyone what they think.

It started out as an experiment trying to emulate the awesome work handsomerob does but in cc3. The textures really didn't come out like I anticipated, but I think they are interesting. I may add a similar texture to the water to see how it works.

This was an intriguing test run--and somewhat successful, I'd say! I wish I knew more about CC so I could offer specific advice on where to go next, but I'm sure someone else will fill the gap.

My first thought upon seeing the thumbnail was "Thats a nice HandsomeRob map!" You definitely captured the feel/tone.
