The North: Telva and surrounding lands

Howdy all. Well I started on attempting a few maps using tutorials here and this is the first one that comes near what I wanted, using GIMP variations on the 'Antique Map' tutorial by Ascension I believe. It's still a work in progress, and is for a campaign world I've been constructing that has a sort of mid-polish Renaissance coupled with 'Gothic' Horror sorts of themes. One of the things I wanted to do for alot of the campaign was to make the maps themeselves 'objects' from within the milieu, rather than merely player aids(though obviously there will be some of those too).

Suggestions and directions are always welcome.
