Default December 2011 Entry: Journey of the Wyvern Hunter

Wow, so many entries, I feel the need to throw something in as well ... Not much time this month but I'll try to use my "warming-up time" (I always need about 15-30 mins drawing before my linework goes smoothly to create something. It will be a follow up of the previous month entry showing the Journey of the Wyvern Hunters first -and last- hunt... cheers, DJ

It was a bizarre thing, but last month, when you did this challenge, I switched on the TV and the movie was on. I was looking at the 'ship' and thinking, that it looked really familiar and then penny dropped!

haha, and you finished watching the movie ravs? (it was a drag for me to watch but I just eat any fantasy movie ). I did some linework for the lair. Challenge will be the value+colors but we'll see where this goes. cheers, DJ

Royal: I'm very sorry for your loss, your mother was a terribly attractive woman.

Lol, no. I tried, but it was truly awful. And not awful in the sense of 'Hawk the Slayer' which was so awful it became brilliant. The only decent thing in the whole movie was the land ship which you drew.

Thanks guys, some quick update, I added some more lines, value, a bit of color and some 'grungy effects'. Not yet 100% happy but there's time to tune still cheers, DJ
