    The lines in the water is just the result that is produced with a given water-texture. My "usual" water texture doesn't produce them

    Hi,

    I just released an early demo version that showcases parts of what I've managed (and obviously what I haven't!).

    If you want to have a look, and try it, you can download it at: https://sites.google.com/site/genworlds/

    It only works on 64-bit windows for now, unfortunately.

    Some have reported an error after map generation is finished, but in those cases the maps are still produced and located in C:\Temp\

    There was an error in the demo earlier, which is now fixed! Here are two maps generated from this build.

    (They had to be downscaled to fit the file-size limit here, so the quality is not 100%).

    Hi,

    A little update. I just added functionality for seamlessly stiching maps together into indefinitely large maps. So now you can create maps as big as you please
    The blog har more details, but I'm pretty psyched at least!

    Good on ya for the zoom feature! That's typically how I build: broad strokes so I have a concept of how everything fits together, then fine detail for individual places/cultures.
