    Default Ormbukten

So I've been home sick today. And what else could one do but for once do some mapping while everyone else is gone at schools etc. I also thought it would be fun to see how far I could get on one map in a day (or more like half a day). Well this is Ormbukten (snake bay in English) in my Etrakien world. It took me between 4-5 hours to get this far, which I'm very pleased with. Now it's mainly labeling left to do, if you guys (and girls) don't see something that is missing.

Wow! I really like the coloring of the map. The mountains are also amazing. In addition the city icons are pretty nice. Don't see anything you could add, I mean, i'd add a lake somewhere, but that is because I like lakes...

Looking forward to see it finished.

Agreed - nice coloring, and a nice style in general. I see nothing wrong, in general. The rivers seem to end in closed lines, if you know what I mean? it's nothing major really, but something I noticed. The buildings of the little city icons seem to be "behind" the rivers by a few pixels here and there; again, a tiny issue. I think you have a winner with this map.

Btw: Love the "sunken lands" - awesome touch.

Thanks for the comments, I'm glad you like it. I've fixed the rivers in this latest version (thanks for pointing it out bartmoss). Lakes could have been great Beoner, but i decided to leave them out this time.
I've also changed the size of the small towns to a smaller one, I think it makes them blend in better. I've also started to label the map, mainly the cities left now. Then it is the compass rose and scale before it is done.

The map is done and I've added it to the Finished map thread.
    Thanks for the input.
