Wip WIP-- Untitled Hex-based map project

    Greetings,
It seems like forever since my last post. I thought I would share a recent experimental project I have been working on. It is all based around Hexagonal map icons. Each icon is made in adobe illustrator. Would enjoy your sharing any of your thoughts or reactions to this project.

It's very clean and nice. Your icons are great. I was thinking you could take the ship icon, cut it in half, make it jagged and rotate it a bit to look like a wrecked ship. Overall a nice bit of work you have here.

Ok, that's a good idea! I quickly made another icon based on your suggestion.

It looks awesome. Very clean and very smooth. And if you're going to do the whole map, it's going to end up hugemongous! So ... hope it goes well.

Also your mountain symbols have given me an idea ...

Yep, the whole map when assembled would be something like 7 feet by 9 feet. But it is divided up into approx 8 x 10 inch sections ( each section is outlined in red on the big map ). So my plan was to print out the sections on letter sized paper.

Also, I would be very interested in seeing your new ideas based on the mountain symbols.

The icons are outstanding. Multiple sets of titles. Very crisp.
