Thread: Hallo groovy mapmakers!

    Default Hallo groovy mapmakers!

I found this site by accident and I'm in love. The tutorials on this site are fantastic! I followed Gidde's hand drawn map tutorial and made my first digital map. It's a bit rough, but it was a lot of fun. I thought that I was a GIMP wizard, but the people here are on a different level. Anyway, I love maps and I'm glad to be here.

Thank you thank you, it's a pleasure! Ummm... what are the rules about posting images (format, etc.)?
I know that I saw them somewhere. .....

    Hi, welcome to the Guild!

To answer your question, most image formats can be uploaded and the size limit is about ~4.7Mb. If you click 'Go Advanced' when writing a comment, then look for the 'Manage Attachments' button, there's a list of the formats you can use there. There's some info about adding images to a post here:

Don't be shy about sharing your work, even if you feel it's a bit rough. You can often get good advice and suggestions on how to improve it.
