    Default Charting a course

Hello all, my name is Edward and I am a freelance illustrator living in Wellington, New Zealand. I am originally from Australia but am enjoying the ex-pat life at the moment.

I love most things fantasy and sci-fi related, and after getting into #dnd over the last couple of years I have had my fair exposure to maps. They are something I want to make more of, but I am very much a novice. I like to create them in good old pencil and ink, and had some fun putting a bit of effort into some last year. Here is a photo if you are curious

I have been gobsmacked at the level of quality maps on these forums, and it is very inspiring!

    Now where's my grid paper...

    Heya Edward,

You hit the nail right on the head.. I agree.. this place is very inspiring. Lots of friendly folks and helpful too. Looking forward to seeing some of your hand drawn maps.
