Wip Westeros and the Free Cities

I stumbled across this site some weeks ago and was amazed by the quality and beauty of the maps created here.

I am listening to A Clash Of Kings on audiobook at the moment and though it would be cool to make a map of Westeros and the Free Cities. This is the first map i have ever done. I am am using parts of Pasis tutorial to make the mountains and the forest.

So far only part of the Free Cities is done, but take a look and tell me what you think =)

Nice map, especially for a first try.
From a first quick look: you should make the symbols for the towns "pop out" of the map in the same way like you did with the roads, at the moment they go mostly unnoticed, i think...

I didn't mean the icons themselves, i think they are ok, i'd just colour them different.
