Map Kingdom of Ravenhold : The Red Epic

    Hey guys,

Did this as personal commission for a client. I interpreted the original DnD map of this small kingdom state and went to town with it. It was alot of fun, and painting the shield designs was always a nice switch. unfortunately i get more map work than figure work these days, so its nice to be able to flex some more figurative paint skills

That's nice work there and I really do love those shields!

Agreed, the shields are top-notch, particularly the one with the hammer.

Very nice map, with a very cadaverous feel to it. I specially like the compass you made; quite unique.

Great map Jared! Very good marbling effect on it and all, I wouldn't mind a run-down on what layers and blends you used for it!

Agreed - nice map, I at first glance I thought the forest was water too.

Quite a beautiful map, though I must admit like a couple of the above posters, that when I first looked at the map I thought the forests were bodies of water.
