    Map Worldmap of Arya

This is a commissioned map for the World of Arya (Workingtitle)

It have been a lot of fun doing this map to get deeper into the Satelite style of maps. And I also tryed to etablish a kind of handwriting on these maps. It all started with The empire of Trial and Error, which is still unfinished, perhaps not for long. But on this map there will be no Kingdomborders or political elements, its for Overview of the Terrain and will undergo other changes when it comes to the Regional-maps. Those will be the next to map.
I realy like this great community here on CG, without all the fine people here, I wouldnt been able to do such works. Thank you, thank you all.

It looks great. Just great. The sense of sea-floor, the terrain, everything.

One niggle is a bit of a matter of personal taste: I don't like bevelled fonts

Love the map! It looks amazing! I am curious though on a couple of things:

    1) Did you come up with this design yourself, or did the person who commissioned you have a rough draft of the map?
    2) Is it suppose to be a plausible map, as in if this planet actually existed, this is what it could look like?

Hope I'm not asking too many questions!

Looks great. I like the look and feel a lot...the blue of the water is particularly striking. The distressed, aged look is very nicely done.

Thanks for your interest. It was half / half . I got a rough Sketch and could interpret it very freely.
For the second question; I did a general rain and winddirection Map to localized where dry areas could be.
I am sure its not geological perfect, but it makes mostly sense.
