The Interstellar Ship (ISS) Titanic launched its maiden voyage in the year 3031 AD. It was lost soon after in the void of space. Now, over a thousand years later, its buried wreck has been found...

Haha! I love the concept. Goes to show, you never name a ship "Titanic" Anyway, I like that it's a non traditional map. Since it's a scan, I get the impression of a satellite image, which still qualifies as a map! After all, Google Maps does the same thing. Very clever use of the provided template. I really dig it.

I can never decide which I like more - sci-fi or fantasy LOL. Anyway I made the map first then looked for the concept by asking what I was looking at. It just hit me out of the blue.

What did you use to do the 3d conversion on this? Very unique solution to the challenge!

Oh, hi - thanks. Just load the ink blot image as a height map in any 3D rendering software.
