    Tutorial Calculating the parallels

    Welcome!
This is probably the right section to post some help for people creating fantasy worlds. Spherical worlds, of course.

I prepared a spreadsheet calculating the length of each parallel, as well as the degrees on those parallels, depending on the circumference of the equator.

The circles of latitude get smaller as the distance from the Equator increases. The 60th parallel north or south is half as long as the Equator. 90° North and South are a points having length 0.
Their length can be calculated by a common sine or cosine function. And I applied this function to this worksheet.

It works in a very simple way. In the yellow box we specify the circumference of the equator of our world and immediately get the results.

I hope this is useful to some of you.
    Let me know.

If you have any ideas on how to further improve this sheet, please let me know. It's good enough for me, but maybe a few more features would be nice in there.
