Thread: Hello from South Carolina

    Post Hello from South Carolina

... where most of us know more about maps that Miss Teen South Carolina.

I was posting back and forth with RPMiller on the MapTools forum when he suggested I pop in here and say "hey guys"!

I'm new to MapTool and the Cartographer's guild. I'm also new to Photoshop which is why I posted on the MapTools forum. I've got version 7.0 and it has been sitting here doing nothing forever. Now I've finally found a reason to start using it more frequently - to create images and maps for fellow gamers!!

Fair warning though, I'm hoping to get lots of help with the program! What I have discovered thus far, though limited, has also been very interesting. I'm looking forward to learning much more of the functionality of the program, and RPMiller said this is the place to do it!

Welcome to the Guild DT! Yes, there are folks here that know quite a bit more about the program and are far more talented than I am. I can post my tutorials either here or over at MT as I put them up. Would you prefer one over the other?
Bill Stickers is innocent! It isn't Bill's fault that he was hanging out in the wrong place.

    Welcome DT.

Some people swear by Photoshop 7!

There's lots of empty space that could have your maps in it .

Doesn't Miss Teen South Carolina have "huge tracts of land!"

I just tried to find them, but couldn't. Would you be able to point me at them. I'm interested to see what's there.

    Thanks for the welcoming.

    RPMiller,
You should post the tutorials wherever you think they will do the most good. I'm sure I'm not the only one with Photoshop questions.

    Sigurd,
Miss Teen SC does indeed have "large tracts of land" just like the Iraq and such.

Welcome Dark Thoughts. Dont be shy, just ask. There are a great great bunch of people here who will be most willing to help.

Please dont be too harsh on Miss Teen South Carolina. She even mentioned South Africa, and you know there's no such thing as bad publicity.
