    OK. That's what I wanted to know.

    OK, here I've laid down the base colors. I decided to stick with a sort of light ink washed look for this map. Next I'll work on adding a bit more color variation as well as light and dark contours.

    This is looking wonderful all around. I can't wait to see it finished!

    Thanks Cereth! Well I've been stealing time away from my dissertation to work on this. I've finished detailing the forests and some of the mountains. I still have yet to color the grasslands, deserts & canyons and hills. Here's a small update of the forests & mountains.

    Cheers,

    Well it took longer than expected, but I finally finished coloring the mountains. Still have yet to do the hills, grasslands and deserts.

    Great stuff especially considering you are drawing with a mouse. I know how tough that is.

    @Gidde, Thanks, they took a bit of time to finish.

    @Jaxilon, you know, it was tricky at first, and I think it would still be pretty difficult If I were to attempt to sketch something more substantial than what I have, but after some practice it turned out to be not as difficult as I thought it was going to be. Still, I'd opt for a tablet over a mouse any day.

    @Lostatsea, thanks.

    I still have a long way to go if i want to draw such amazing maps. I especially like those forests. I'm looking forward to see the finished map.
