    Looking Good Cereth! I always begin my map outline first, and then find that I run out of space for the compass and map key. So I think it's wise that you started with these elements first.

    Looking good! I love the border. Every time I try one of those with the dip pen I always get a blob somewhere, so I'm jealous of your bloblessness

    The coastline didn't quite turn out the way that I wanted it to. The ink looked a lot "bluer" online, but when I put it down it's a very dark purple. I'm pretty happy with how the compass rose came together though. This art board I got is very nice and I would work with it again. It's darn near indestructible.

    Almost done now...will scan it in when it's finished. I will be putting away the pen and ink for awhile I think...I've had ink stained fingers for like two weeks now.
