    Default Cloud maps

We've all done it as kids: Lay on the grass, look at the clouds rolling by and try to see what sort of animals and shapes we could find. Hopefully, we still take time to do this but I also know life has a way of beating all the fun out of it if we aren't careful. So I say let's be kids again...

Go outside, point your camera to the sky and take a shot of some good looking clouds. Use that image to create your map.

Note: If you don't have a way to take a pic of the sky maybe someone could take a bunch of shots and make them available for anyone in need.

You could go to a bowling alley or bar and stare at the clouds of cigarette smoke.

maximise contrast, copy layer, select top layer threshold at 74, smooth selection by 2 pixels and delete, colourise both layers. squish :p

better when it's overhead so you don't have patterns of light and darkness due to perspective.

As a kid? Ha - more like three days ago. I caught myself staring as clouds moved across a setting sun, thinking - there's a good bay and peninsula, there's an isthmus. That could be mountains over there....

I'm sort of with you Waldronate - we don't have many cloudy days in the Phoenix area either. I'll have to keep an eye out.

Personally we have Tons of clouds here all year round . Want some ? Seriously though I have caught myself looking at clouds both in positive and negative space and found many interesting MAP shapes. Hope this comes to the regular challenge as I can't enter the lite ones any more. Boo Hoo !! For those with out access to their own clouds perhaps any freely available cloud reference Pict could be allowable ??

This challenge would indeed be a good month to be in Washington.
