My only defense for such a low score, is that most of the fonts in the game were Adobe fonts. I've been using TrueType fonts for over 10 years. Many TTF fonts are bastardized versions of Adobe fonts and thus have their own names.

The bulk of the Sans-Serif fonts are ones I've never used, so I could only guess at them. Some were obvious, but very few.

    Oh, well...

    14. At least I knew to correct a colleague recently that said "Veranda" instead of "Verdana".

23 out of 34. According to the site, that was average? I admit I used to do a LOT of type matching, but some of them were lucky guesses.

To my benefit, I guessed a few right.
Also to my benefit, I am a fulltime prepress artist.
To my detriment, I somehow double-clicked a couple, blowing my chances.

    I got 32 just now.

When I first tried that quiz a few weeks ago I think I got 25.

It involves quite a bit of luck based on what you're familiar with and what style of fonts you like, because some of the fonts appearing are not all that standard.

I was surprised to see that the average is 23, though; I wouldn't have thought so many visitors would have such high font (name) recognition!

a mere 12, I got the really edgey style's like Playbill, Copperplate, Comic Sans, etc. but most likely anything with more than three words in its name I failed. but did anyone put there names in the hall of fame?
