Wip Newbie - Continental and Regional Map

I've decided that I'm just not going to get the kind of overland maps I want with Campaign Cartographer (still like it a lot for dungeons and towns). So, i've downloaded photoshop and gave Ascension's "Making Continents in Photoshop" and Tear's "Saderan" tutorial a whirl. Really happy with the results - but I'm eager to learn if anyone has any comments/suggestions on doing things better. (I certainly think these can be much, much better).

In particular - if anyone can point me in the direction of better ways or style for doing labeling, scales, borders, etc. ....rivers and lakes....mountains and forests...critiques on geographical placement...

    Thanks in advance

No. There's plenty of graphics software available for free. You have no excuse for piracy.

I believe he was talking about the trial, if he finds it useful i'm sure he'll buy elements or some other cheap version.
