Getting close to the end. I've used 4 different cloud pictures to make this. 2 for the riverbanks and 2 for the river.

Needed to change a few things so of course I couldn't stop once I started and a major rework occurred.

This could be the final version, but let me know what you think.

    Sweet!
Question: Is that a wooden gate next... to... lava?

I notice, when I zoom in, a few sharp edges on the left-hand bank (and a hole in the rock that looks iffy) that you may want to blur out. Also, suggestion for the little eddies where the river dips out of the main flow area: Maybe take a large, soft smear/smudge tool, or liquify, to kinda push the lava into rounded whirls to slightly match the contours of the rock. Just an idea. It looks good as is.

I smudged/swirled the lava edges a little, gave the road a little more texture, replaced the wood door with a bronze door and put a border around it to give it a more finished look. Thanks for the advice.

=) Nice! The border really gives it that extra goodness. Curiosity... did you make it from scratch or find it somewhere?

I found it on Google images and modified it to fit this map.

Bogie this is excellent. Does the bridge have dark shadows on the right and left side? If so, these might give it the illusion it is floating above the rockface a little - I would soften the transition between the rockface and the entry onto the bridge. But otherwise I think this is briliant - good job.

Thanks, I'll have to fix that.

I fixed the shadows at the right & left of the bridge and added a 5 ft scale label.
