Help Ancient Greek City Map Needed (Iolkus)

    Hello,

I am cap-in-hand for someone to help me create a really smart city map for a forthcoming RPG campaign set in an heroic mythical Greek setting. Ideally we would present a really nice player's reference map for my guys ready for play on August 31st 2012.

    SUBJECT:
Iolkus (also Iolcus) is a polis (city) of around 3000 inhabitants. It is a coastal town with a harbour, two major temple areas, a Palace for the King, 200-300 houses which also in many cases double as businesses, and a Wizard's Tower. It's surrounded by a tall stone wall and features three gatehouses. The town has farm land surrounding it.

Ideally the surround territory would conform roughly to the actual terrain of the area. You can see the geography here:

I would be able to provide a more detailed outline of the town from my GM notes. I would be happy to allow a great deal of creative freedom for the cartographer working on this project, but can also be directive if that is preferred.

I'm not sure on the scale but I would like to feature individual buildings. It would be good to add key labels for major structures.

I am looking for something in the style of this: http://www.unreal-fantasy.pl/gfx/wfr...online-map.jpg

    QUALITY/SIZE
I'm looking for semi-professional work for use in my own notes, a print out on A4 for the players, and for display on the group's website.

We'd like to have reproduction rights to the map.
We will happily link to the artist's website / info from our group's website.
A remuneration can be discussed if required, despite having a low budget.

    TIMESCALE
Ideally I'd have the map ready for use on August 31st.

Just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who has taken a look at the project.
It has now been taken up by a cartographer.
