    Default BATTLETECH Maps

So, been away a while...and in that time, I have gotten involved in a new online game, by the name of MECHWARRIOR ONLINE. Needless to say, when this finally drops as a F2P title, it will be awesome.

As a result, I have been dusting off my BATTLETECH stuff and playing a few games with my son. And, to do so, I often wish to have battles take place in the same location multiple times. To accomplish this, I have started to make reference maps which correspond to the MAP SHEETS for the game. I have done up the initial 4 maps that are included in CATALYSTS games 25 anniversary box set. I have yet to tackle the two map packs (LAKES & RIVERS, and CITIES & ROADS).

Oh...I used to love Mechwarrior - I wasn't even aware this was being made. Coolness and your maps look good too. I want to play.

Never played it myself, but those look like some very respectable hex-maps you've got there. Nicely done, and welcome back to the Guild by the way!

great maps for play, no distractions.

been playing since battletech, through all the McWarrior stuff

very difficult to find people with the same conception of the game as others, eg. someone recodes it for a new battletech release, they like big mechs, so they make all the small mechs act like tiny big mechs instead of the sportscar mechs i conceive them as...

"i don't think it's fair that you can shoot the legs off my atlas with your laserwasp, so i'm going to code all the little mechs slow so i can kill them, making big heavy and stupid properly analogous to powerful" :p
