Truly amazing. Like, seriously! The amount of detail is staggering.

How well have you designed the areas themselves? Lore-wise, I mean.

thanks i have an encyclopaedia that's coming close to 600,000 words - some places are very well plotted and described while others are little more than an idea and name (for now). my main focus is the worldbuilding and the cartography came around as a way of showing what id done (ad it sure saves time when looking for places and measuring distances!)

This is incredibly cool. Astoundingly well done. ^^

I'm working on a similar project at the moment (a novel series / world building project), but it's pretty much sci-fi as apposed to fantasy (though it's kinda swords-and-sorcery sci-fi, if that makes any sense. Like Game of Thrones -esque, but with extraterrestrials on an alien planet). It also has a pretty intricate world, but not with THAT much detail (that that is kinda what I'm aiming for).

How did you manage to curve the grid (geographical coordinates). I'm also making a map, but I can't for the life of me figure out how create those coordinates.

That right there, that is a beautiful map. Awesome work, well done.
Royal: I'm very sorry for your loss, your mother was a terribly attractive woman.

well, the only full res image I have is the PSD (which is still very much a work in progress... especially now that the only device i owned from which i could use photoshop is now kaput). the closest thing ton full i have are the four corner images on the first post on this thread. they can be stitched together pretty easily on most image manipulation software (i only had to divide the image due to the uploading restrictions on the site)
