    This is just fracking awesome. I love all the details you managed to put in and the overall style. It's obviously digital work, but still manages to convey that unique old-fashioned, hand-drawn charm. If this doen't win a Cartographer's Choice, I will eat my shoes.

    yeah what everyone else said - just amazing work. This is one map I'll stare at for a long time. I would love to see a WIP how you create this? Illustrator & photoshop? How much of it's hand drawn? The clarity of the lettering overtop the mountains - I struggle with achieving that. Love the raked look on those southern mountains in the "endless sands". This is one of my favorites. Awesome work!

    If it doesn't win the Cartographers' Choice do we get to see a photo of you eating your shoes?

    While this map is beautiful, what really grabs me are the names and places. They have the right sound and make me want to know the story.
