    Default Saving BMP From AutoRealm

Hello all! I've created a map in AutoRealm using a hex grid (1 hex per inch). I'm trying to save it as a bmp in order to add colored terrain markers and label cities and such. However, whenever I save it, the hexes become indistinct and zooming in it seems I've lost all resolution. How do I save this map out, retaining its size and distinct hexes?

first there is no such thing as "one hex per inch"

digtal images have NO / ZERO / 0 / NONE concept of inch or cm or meter

dots per inch/cm ( or pixels per inch/cm ) are used in PRINTING -- YES ON PAPER

what pixel dimensions are you saving it as ?
    for example
-- these are 2048x1024 pixel SMALL IMAGES - from a different thread here
    --- 90 seconds to Midnight ---

Thanks. I mentioned the hex per inch setting in the app because I didn't know if it would impact how the hex grid would be rendered when saved as a bitmap. As it turns out, based on what you said, I needed to increase the pixel dimensions of the bitmap. The hexes are still have aliasing when you zoom in but they are visible.
