    Default Two floor tower

I made this simple two-floor tower for Rossic (here http://www.cartographersguild.com/ma...oor-tower.html). Rossic is using it in a free pdf adventure (hopefully he'll post a link here someday.

    The brief:

I tried to give the impression of the tower constructed out of a bedrock outcrop extending over the water, but I don't think I succeeded very well. Nevertheless posting it here in case anyone has any further use for it.

That turned out really nice. I take it that the increasing blurriness in the second and third maps are supposed to represent higher elevation? If so, I think perhaps a more effective technique would be to create a wider land/sea base to begin with and just scale that layer incrementally for the higher elevation maps. Then just crop the first and the second map to match the third.

    Cheers,

That's a great idea Arsheesh - I'll definitely try that next time.

I dig the style quite a bit and similarly like the increasing blurriness on the ground below!

This is really nicely done, can't fault the execution of it at all. My only query: No windows/arrow loops even on the second floor?

That's a good point larb. I would have added them in if I had had a little more time.

Very nicely done! Care to share any tips on how you created it?
