Once, the temple served a small community in the worship of the sea Godess. For generations, the faithfull gathered and offered their propitiatory sacrifices in the small pool connecting to the large sea.
Time have passed, however, and the community moved on. Solowly, the temple fell into disrepair, damaged by the rising sea levels. And then, the Sahuagins came and made the place their own...

That map was constructed using Gimp2 as well as a fair amount of objects from the wonderful Dundjinni.com.
I made it in a A3 format, so that I could print it to scale on two A4 and use it directly as a battlemap (for the North Americans among you, the closer I can think of would be "ledger sized").
