Thread: A (New) Gensokyo Map

  1. #1

    Default A (New) Gensokyo Map

This is the fourth iteration of this map. Well fifth I guess but the first one was more for notes. Anyway, I have been working on this between other projects and I finally got all the linework done so now I just need to colour it. I have not picked a colour scheme yet though and there may be a few more details I might add and I should really move Moriya Shrine further up the mountain so it fits the canon (even though I like it where it is). So I may do that.

This project has been a good marker though, especially in comparison to my last version (which I increasingly hate).

Anyway, for the most part just the colouring to do! I'm sure it won't tooooo long. =P

(I may just link directly to it on my site once it is done as it is 1.5mb already even when saved as a really low quality jpg)

Looking nice. I'm guessing the labels are still temporary, right? Decided on a colour palette yet?

That is totally beautiful linework, man. I cannot wait to see this coloured. It's gonna be gorgeous.

It is 5000x3500 pixels. It is taking a while to colour especially in between other things. I am trying for a soft early morning scheme but we'll see how that turns out. =P

And yes those hand drawn labels are temporary. I have a habit of annotating my maps when I am making them.
