Default Farjvad - Town map made in CD3

Ok this is my latest map, a map of the town Farjvad. The second largest town in the Vadsbro province. The map is for a campaign/adventure I'm working on in my spare time. Six more villages to do for that
    I hope you like it.

Edit: Seems that a lot of people thinks my maps in this style looks like they are from some fairy tale book, so I thought I put it in a book to see if it's true
(So that means a second picture in this thread, but I thought it would be strange to start a new one just for this, it's still the same map).
PS: The book texture is something I got from the very nice people that did run the lamp post guild kickstarter, that I backed. I've changed it a bit (made it into two pages) however.

Reminds me a bit of a typical manorial/feudal village. Good stuff!

The idea of the map is that the south part of the village is the old one. It grew around the keep that is in the middle and gives the inhabitants protection in case of a crisis. The northern part of the village is the newer mainly buildt to increase the farming area, that is why it is more square in its form. Well that is the idea anyway . So even though I didnt have the manorial/feudal village in mind while mapping I can clearly see the similarities.

Lovely one. The buildings seems a bit sharper regarding the landscape around....Nothing's really wrong though

Yeah, indeed! What a lovely little map.
The idea to explain everything important in the text is very nice, too.

There could be additional ornament in the corner squares, though. They look a bit empty.

    Thanks!
This was a bit of a test to see if it worked out well, so I'll definitely continue developing the idea, which means more ornaments
I'm actually thinking of adding a "book" to the adventure/campaign I'm making that will be a quick description of all the towns with maps that the GM can hand out to the players as they travel the area.
