    Tutorial Turning 2-D Images into 3-Models

    Howdy,

    After several people asked how I was able to turn a 2-D image into a 3-D Model I slapped together a quick tutorial that uses Google Sketchup.

    The original map was found on Dyson's Dodecahedron's site.

    I imported it into Google Sketchup and turned into this:

    This is just awesome. I'm currently awaiting delivery of my copy of "Dyson's Delves" and I don't think I have a choice but to try this out when it arrives. Thanks for the great tut.

    This tutorial is excellent and even I was able to follow it and make a 3D super-futuristic dungeon video. Strongly recommended.

    Dyson's is amazing......wow......if this all works out.....hell with free ....as i see it now trimble....and i'm timing out....unless i am wrong....but goggle sketchup is defunked....but bloody awesome tool.....seems like awesome investment...wonder what student price is

    be back.....i want more
