My First Map

Ok, this is technically not my first map. When I was in grade school I used to spray paint rocks with gold paint and bury them in the dry river bed by our house. Then I'd make tea-stained maps LIKE this, and tried to convince my friends that it was a real treasure map so they would go on a Goonies-style adventure with me. This is what happens when you're homeschooled. Anyway, what you see here is the first map I made for the IP I'm developing called Tales from Talifar. I'll bet's it's over 20 years old. It's traditional ink pen on paper and stained with tea.

Oooh, that calligraphy..! And that compass! I love that you made maps for your friends to get on an adventure. We all should do that sometimes.

Great map for some great remembrances. We played with maps when we were children, too. Sometimes even the treasure was worth the quest.
