Question The Traditional Process of creating Woodcut Maps?

Has anyone run across a site or book or blog post, etc, that covers the technical processes and points of interest in the art of traditional woodcut/block-printing maps... or illustrations in general, but specifically maps and their various forms of depiction and style?

Mainly just curious if there is such a work on the subject.

You might find something here, or do a google search for wood cut maps. Thats what I did to end up at that link.

If you want a more scholarly treatment, look at Five centuries of map printing by David Woodward.

    Here's a review about it.
