    Default Map Climate Shading Advice

    Hey Everyone,

Is there a tutorial, software,l or any ideas on the best way to shade your landmasses in climate?

Are there PS Patterns or textures that people use or brush technique. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

For example the climate shades on these examples are great!:

    Hi Casey,

Arsheesh might probably answer you better on his own map but I think he's using gradients layers to shade/color his map. Mine was shaded/colored with basic colored brushes combined with blending modes layers use.

I have been known to have serious difficulties with distinguishing between the concepts one and two.
