Wip My First Map - Star Gazers Home

I found the Cartographers Guild roughly two weeks ago, and in I discovered a helpful and professional community. Before that time I had never heard of people really making artwork with maps, it was interesting, and something I never tried before. Inspired by the beautiful featured maps this site had to offer I knew I had to take a shot at making a map.

Right now I'm on the outline of the map, haven't cleaned it up yet, so it could change.

While it's far from good, and not nearly close to complete, I hope that this community will help me improve my skills through useful feedback.

I'll continue to update it as I work more on it.

I think isometric maps are really neat, so I'm hoping you post more of this as it develops. Are you using some kind of grid underlay to keep all your lines organized? If not it might be helpful. It does seem like the octagonal room at the upper left is a little distorted compared to the rest of the map, but it could just be that my brain is having trouble parsing the more complex shape.

    Keep up the good work!

    cheers,
    Meshon
