    Another interesting landshape. I look forward to the development of this map.
    Btw, the pic in the middle of your last map-post looks also very good imo. Maybe you should consider going with that kind of mountainstyle?

    @ Eilathen - i liked them to but i really wanted to try a different style with this map!

    And here is another update with mountains and a forest.

    Ramah's mountains brushes are very dark and not that easy to use well. I'd suggest to try using them with some lighter color/or with a lower opacity set to multiply blending mode, then put some layers underneath them to "re-build" the shadows and the lights by painting them. Also you may want to take care of the way they blend with the background.

    Wow Miranda, you're improving quickly! I like the mountains you had earlier but your current exploration certainly has more visual impact and meshes with the style of the rivers better.

    Okay so per max's suggestion in re doing my mountains... only problem is now i'm contemplating just drawing out my own.

    I should, i just never have and really don't know where to start... i'll have to scour over the tutorials here for something.

    Mountains are really fun to draw, and it makes a map very personal I think. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!
