Default ORBIS - a tool for understanding travel in ancient Rome

    Hi guys,

I found this tool that some of you may know about but I think is extremely useful and worthy of sharing. It is like google Earth for ancient Rome with lots of extra information relating to how expensive trips would take etc. It's the perfect tool I've been looking for which is something to help determine travel times in any ancient or medieval world

    ORBIS

Thanks Lingon! I'm loving playing around with it! It should help others determine logical scales and such for their maps too I hope. Interestingly the makers say that not only distance and time but cost also had a major impact on what routes they chose to travel.
