    Wip

I tried to make the fog more foggy and added some more detail. Any ideas for post-apocalyptic landmarks?

The fog? I feel like I'm missing something. The white shading on the coast?

Look at the recent posts - the red fog on the right continent.

What about craters and locally polluted water and rivers' maybe some woodfires with smoke going with the wind?

To me that looks like a pit of lava, the reason being that you delineated the edge with black line. Or the fog is in a pit which makes it appear as lava because of the edges. I don't think with an opaque red like that it will read as fog unless it appears to be drifting or hovering or something to make it less distinct. If it were white or grey it may read as fog in such a situation, but I'd still have doubts. Perhaps it there were features underneath it that it sort of obscured it would help?

I kinda agree with everyone about the fog. It's rather look like lava, even with the last changes. Also, glacier would need more work to be as convincting as the rest of the map in my opinion. Btw nice job so far Sapiento!

If your going with lava, I think it would look better orange and with more contrast. With chunks of black volcanic rock floating. So the original was better.

I think the problem is the colour - would it be white it would be identified as fog, but with red... A label should make this clear.

@Chashio - the fog should stay within the canyons as a strictly defined lethal zone. Drifting out of it wasn't my intention.
@Max - maybe I could add smaller icebergs.
