Novel Map (Interior)

[Coriolis]

This is a port of the cover map that I made for this novel. I took out the color, touched up the terrain, re-did the bump maps, and added a bunch of icons and labels. This map will appear in three incarnations through the book, each with a few more locations shown. This version is the final one.




I drew it in GIMP, with a couple of inkspace graphics (the fish and the demon/dragon/skull thing).

I tried including a compass rose and scale, but I couldn't find a good spot for it. Since the terrain is somewhat familiar to anyone with a passing familiarity with world geography, I figured that I could get away without them. The font is a little plain, but it's space-efficient, which is what I'm looking for this smaller, interior map.
