That's very pretty. I think it'd look better without the black frame, or maybe just a very thin one… but great job nonetheless.

thanks. i wanted it to look like an old sheet of parchment, and the black border worked best for burning the paper edges. i had tried cropping it down and I didn't really like the result. so short of having it sit on a wood desk or on top of a pile of more parchment (school just started and I have no more time), I opted to keep the black. just pretend it's mounted in a dark room in a museum.

It has a nice mood, professional shading and interesting textures.
