ID:	57032So with all of the work I've been doing with playing with cave maps, I thought that I would through together a mine map. Essentially this is the same process as the other cave maps that I've been working on but this time I added cart-tracks to connect several of the tunnels and chambers as well as a water feature.

The tracks aren't the best work I've ever done but I've never built tracks before so I'm kinda flying blind on them. I think that they look ok but I'm sure I could add detail to the boards and to the tracks but with as large as this image it - who would see them?

I'm not sure what else to add to the map at this time though I did add the water feature as a sunken pit.

Let me know what you think.

    Full-sized versions posted to flicker.

    Thanks!

    Nice looking map, Green-Pilgrim!

The only issue I see with the tracks is that tracks aren't like that - they curve and junction, i.e not made of straight segments.

I doodled on top of your drawing to show the general idea (hope you don't mind...)...

You can download and play with rail design software http://www.anyrail.com/examples_en.html or even use the online lego one!

oh wow - never knew that there was a rail software. That would make life SO Much easier.

    Thanks bud.

I was never really happy with the tracks that I put on the map but it was enough to give the idea where they were located.

    Thanks again.
