    Are you planning to do any more with this? You state it as though you are finished, but the sea is still a flat black, and the ground is still white.

    Any reason why this is here instead of in the Lite Challenge forum? Moving it to the appropriate forum, in any case.

    Also needs to have ### Latest WIP ### before the image in order for the image to show in the thumbnail scraper.

    I'm quite new to GIMP and I'm not too sure about sea textures, so I might try adding some water, and possibly something to give depth to the land.

    There are some great tutorials here that could help out a lot. You should look into them. RobA's Artistic Regional Maps tutorial is a great place to start.

    I think you've got a good start. Your layout, scale, and way of arranging the spaces on the map is great, and exactly the kind of thing I'd expect to see in a game.
