    Post Hi there

I found this site whilst Googling for Fractal Terrains tutorials, and thought I'd stop by and say hi properly

ATM I'm world-building for a fantasy novel I'm intending to write later this year, and although I have a preliminary sketch map of the area I'm writing about, I thought I would get a better handle on the region's history if I knew what the rest of the world looked like! Of course, having read Jared Diamond's "Guns, Germs and Steel" I already know that I need some adjacent lands with similar climates to facilitate the development of civilisation, but apart from that I don't have any fixed plans...

    Anyway, hi all!

    Hi Redfox!

"They come for the search engine hit and stay for the witty banter..."

Hope you stick around. If you have any specific mapping/worldbuilding questions just start a thread and ask away.
